FLAC: Free Lossless Audio Codec. These are CD quality recordings.
PDF: Portable Document Format. These contain the musical score / sheet music.
PostScript: These also contain the score.
LilyPond: These contain the "source code" which gets converted into the PS and PDF scores by the LilyPond program.
