If you wanted you could build a dream Limited by what your dream could mean You couldn't think up the real deal A whole that can't fit inside a human head So you'd think then that you could add up the space A thousand people equals a thousand times the capacity And huge concepts would in unity be understood But you can't add the little brains together to make huge You just get loads of little ones, each separate and incapable of taking us where we want to go The human race is as good as one single man The sum does not exist of parts which can't be added Consciousness incompatible no matter how good the communication But bigger brains, more sentience, more thought, more consciousness Wouldn't they just lead to more capacity for hatred, pain, suffering? The way it is for all living beings, the evidence shows it fundamentally doesn't change An exploratory train crashes into another dead end.
